I am not sure about that, but there is no any complaint and error/waring messages.
I think I need to deal with the Metal problem right now, according to the crash report.

I think if you install the web drivers in High Sierra it creates/installs the Hal.web drivers in S/L/Extensions folder? These may be worth looking at for comparison.
They may be running alongside it the Hal drivers?

drivers works fine, things goes wrong is all about the metal.
