Discrete graphics and battery life.

Hey, I've been using my Probook 4530s Hackbook for quite a while now, OS X is the only os i have installed on it, and I'm so grateful for everyone who made it possible to use it. Now... I don't even mind graphic glitches anymore, but there are two things i really miss, i mentioned them in title, Radeon graphics (better gaming experience), and battery life, I often do take notes in school with my laptop and having to charge it every two hours is not as convenient as every 5 hours. Is there anything that can be done about this ? any ideas ?

Probably 50% more than a 6-cell battery, you can expect 3h then.
