There is an intriguing issue I'm facing with my HP Envy 15, it seems the HDMI/DP outlets are wired to the NVidia eGPU. Since I deactivated it, I get no screen routed to them. Everything works fine with the on-board UHD graphics but external graphics ports are dead, no matter what I do.

Is there a way to invoke some kind of pass-through mode for the eGPU?

Thanks for any useful hint!

probably not if your hdmi is routed through your nvidia

maybe try High Sierra and use the nvidia web drivers

Thanks, I was hoping not to hear that but it seems to be a dissapointing fact. I have a DisplayLink-based dock and it works through it.
