A year ago, I installed macOS on a ZenBook with an Nvidia card for a work colleague, he complained that the battery only lasted 6 hours, while it lasted 10 hours on Windows. The Nvidia card was deactivated by WhateverGreen, after deactivation with the _OFF method it lasted 9 hours.
Now I have a ZenBook Pro Duo, the _OFF method does not disable the Nvidia card, even under Windows, with WhateverGreen, the card is not displayed in the IOReg, but still consumes electricity and produces heat. When disabling the entire root port I don't see any device, no video, no audio, no USB controllers, even in Windows, it still draws power.
Anyone with similar experience?
