Diablo 3 & Starcraft 2 sound skipping

Hi Guys,

Not sure if this is the correct section but cant see a gaming specific section so here it goes anyways.

I have just installed Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2, and although they play fine they have sound skipping issues. World of Warcraft plays fine and always has done but its as if i get a graphics spike and that causes the sound to skip.

I am already setup to use the Black line out as the green does not work on my gigabyte ud5h board

any ideas? thanks

Don't know if this helps, but i had been messing with chameleon wizard, and graphicsenabler and pciroot being on 1 gave me weird in game issues.

no changing these doesnt help

its strange, its as if the music starts, then stops after a second then plays again or plays another and this just goes on and on and on.

so when characters start speaking for example it will play 1 or 2 seconds then just skip the rest

ahh, was hoping it might have been somthing similar to mine.

im thinking it might just be worth getting a USB sound card... i dont know what else to do and Blizzard dont support modified or built macs as they put it lol

managed to fix this using the VoodooHDA codecs by installing from the pkg on google
