Success! Fresh install of Mavericks.

I used the boot flags PCIRootUID=0 and GraphicsEnabler=Yes and I got into the Installer. I had a usb keyboard with trackpad plugged in if that helps and the laptop keyboard/mouse wasn't working in the installer.

I'll update with peripheral info when I get those installed.

Sorry, disregard. It keeps freezing on the install. I tried switching the hard drive, but it's the same issue. It's been a different amount of time remaining each time it happens. I booted into safe mode and I'm trying to install it this way. EDIT: Failure again when booting the install into safe mode.

Any ideas what's causing the freeze? The progress bar stops animating, and the mouse is no longer usable when it freezes.

I haven't been past the installation. It freezes before it finishes, and I have to reboot and start over. I'm not sure what's causing it as I've never had an install freeze before.
