Hi.
I am trying to get up the dell XPS 9730 as Hackintosh.
Now I am running into the following problem:
The internal speakers are not recognized.
My Audio: Realtek ALC3271 (Intel Kaby Lake-U/Y PCH - High Definition Audio)

I used the Guide with
AppleALC.kext
Lilu.kext
and change HDAS to HDEF
via Clover.
But looking up the Supported Codecs: https://github.com/acidanthera/AppleALC/wiki/Supported-codecs, but couldn't find any matching codec.

Then I tried following this Guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...lake-audio-onboard-and-or-hd-6x0-hdmi.221618/

Using the second solution:
2. RehabMan/OS-X-Fake-PCI-ID
Download: OS-X-Fake-PCI-ID / Downloads
Install (use kext installer to /L/E)
FakePCIID.kext (if not installed previously)
FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext

Has anyone run into problems/solutions with ALC3271 before or can provide a appropriate way to solve my problem?
It would be very motivating finding a solution.

I gave up trying it with this combination.
I recognized that running Mojave ist much more stable for the XPS 13 9730.
Using the Voodoo kext audio and microphone work now (except the audiojack for headphones)

Hi Bro, I've the same laptop with i5 instead of the i7. Have you been able to run macOS on it? What does it work and what doesn't?
Hello Francesco. Yes is works. Mojave is running much more stable than High Sierra.
There is a thread about your version on ******:

My experienced issues are:
Touchpad freezes. (I don't know how to fix this.)
Hotplug USB-C to Thunderbold external display recognition does not work properly.
Hibernation doesn't work.
Sound is to low. (Driver Issue)
WiFi not working (you will need an adapter)
Bluetooth works with additional kexts.
I didn't manage to get the Filevault working.
The screen brightness and video quality seems poor (for me compared to windows drivers)

These issues are not acceptable for me. So I switched back to Windows 10 :)
