Hi Everyone,
I've been successfully running macOS Big Sur on a Dell XPS 13" 9365 with relatively minimal issues.
It is an Intel Core i7-7Y75 1.6Ghz.
I'm using OpenCore with Model ID: MacBook 10,1.
iCloud, iMessage and everything else seems to work great.

With that said, there are two things I haven't been able to figure out are:
1. Touch Screen Support
- I've tried the Voodoo I2C kext without much success

2. Geekbench5 Scores are low
- Windows is showing Single Core Score: 719; Multi-Core Score: 1237.
- macOS is showing Single Core Score: 239; Multi-Core Score: 564.
This seems like a pretty significant hit - the computer also does not seem snappy.

Would anyone have any suggestions to get Touch Screen support working? Also, has anyone had success in improving the Single and Multi-Core performance? Or just performance overall?

Thanks
Michael

no need for:
AppleBacklightInjector.kext

you also have both:
ACPIBatteryManager.kext
SMCBatteryManager.kext
try with just SMCBatteryManager.kext

did you generate your own CPUFriendDataProvider.kext ? maybe try with this instead:
and try different options to suit your needs

cloverHDA.kext shouldn't be needed as you already have:
AppleALC.kext
probably don't need AppleALCU.kext

should be removed:
IntelGraphicsFixup.kext
NullEthernetInjector.kext

make sure to do :
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...to-usb-port-configuration.286553/post-2029768

probably don't need all those voodooI2* kexts, only the ones that you need

config.plist:

remove:
debug=0x100

MacBookPro14,1 would be a better choice

Thanks for your reply and help!
Overall, seems to be a bit better.
I also updated to the newest OpenCore.

I’m now getting a Geekbench score of: 452 single core; 1079 multi core.
Prior to your suggestions it was: 239 single core; 564 multi core.

Hi micheal,

I tried to use your efi on the same model of XPS, it works but I have problems with the webcam and the touchscreen (minor problem), does the webcam work for you?

I had managed using an efi of a Latitude 7480 but of course it doesn't work very well but unlike yours it also works bluethoot and WIFI, but if you can tell me on yours how you did it for the webcam and for the audio I will adjust for the rest.

Regards,

.
