DELL XPS 9360 UHD620 [OC 6.3]

would you be so kind to share with me the whole EFI?
are you using Big Sur or Catalina? if the issue is in Big Sur, you may need to patch the edid of your screen to refresh at 48hz
 
It doesn't matter BS or Catalina, same issue: internal display not detected/presented after boot

If I start the laptop witOUT the external screen, all I see is this:

Then I connect the EXTERNAL display, and all is fine..

But INTERNAL display goes BLACK :(

I'd appreciate more help than just linking me to guides I tried&/read 1000 times already

try adding -igfxtypec and igfxonln=1 to bootargs
 
ok, just tried that, made Zero difference
so still Only External monitor when iGPU is HW accl

any more ideas to try?

maybe try to only add 'framebuffer-con0-busid' set to '00000000' in device properties, which will specify the laptop screen as internal

try Intel UHD 620 (AAPL,ig-platform-id 00009B3E, device-id 9B3E0000) see if it helps
