Dell XPS 15 9570 MacOS Mojave and HDMI Output

I would like to attach a bigger screen through HDMI (video) to my Dell XPS 15 9570 running Mojave.

Is it doable? If so, where should I start to make it work? BTW: I also bought the following hub: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01MXKJC4M/?tag=tonymacx86c0c-20 in case the native HDMI is not working.

Is there any hope I could use an external 4K screen via HDMI?

Check in Windows to see which graphics device the HDMI is connected to.
That will tell you where to start tweaking in macOS.
