The guide on the forums for the 9530 didn't work for me, so this is what I did instead.

This is High Sierra 10.13.6. There is no wifi card in my laptop. I am on an unlocked BIOS A10 with settings matching https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-dell-xps-9530-clover-uefi-hotpatch.235558/. (DVMT-PreAllocated 128MB)

1. Made a (RehabMan) Clover r4444 installer with GPT.
- Install for UEFI booting only
- Drivers64UEFI/OsxAptioFix3Drv-64

2. Downloaded HFSPlus.efi and pulled apfs.efi from installer. Placed in /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI

3. Downloaded RehabMan FakeSMC (2018-04-03) and VoodooPS2Controller (2018-05-06). Placed FakeSMC.kext & VoodooPS2Controller.kext in kexts/Other.

4. I have a 4k display so I need CoreDisplayFixup and maybe IntelGraphicsFixup, but they have both been replaced by WhateverGreen. I download and place Lilu.kext (1.2.6) & WhateverGreen.kext (1.2.1) in kexts/Other

5. Replace config.plist with RehabMan config_HD4600_4400_4200.plist.

6. Use createinstallmedia method to make a High Sierra USB.

7. It will not boot with the standard HD 4600 platform id, so I gave it an invalid one.

8. Installed onto an APFS formatted SSD.

9. Patched CoreDisplay (https://github.com/Floris497/mac-pixel-clock-patch-V2/issues/281).

After patching CoreDisplay, I still can't boot without a invalid ig-platform-id. About this mac reports a 4600 with 21MB. I do have my full resolution, just no acceleration. Which I'm assuming is because of the id. I've also installed no kexts to the actual system yet. They're all on my clover USB.

"Problem Reporting" files are incomplete (you forgot to press F2 and F4, no verbose boot photo attached).
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.
