Is it possible to get the USB hub built into the Dell U2711 monitor to work off of a Hackintosh running ML 10.8.3?

Mine works on my Dell U3011 connected to my desktop hack.
 
mine doesnt and im still on 10.8.3

I plugged a USB cord from the monitor (USB in) to a USB port on the computer.
