Looking to tidy up post install of yosemite using clover legacy.
Up and running at the moment.
Still booting from clover usb while testing.

Full graphics acceleration ,all four dp outputs working correctly
using custom edited frame buffer personality.
Sys Profiler shows hd 7600 series .

System sleeps and wakes correctly .

No on board audio .I have usb audio via monitor so not to pushed on that.

Speed step ? but xeon E5 1620v2 runs at 3.7 so speed step only goes to 3.9 .
Not a big issue for me .
Maybe for others.

Definitely a cheaper alternative to an off the shelf Mac Pro.
Dual booting Windows 10 Pro .

Hi,

I'm thinking of buying Firepro W7000 (because I can get it at a reasonable price - cca. 300$). How did you manage to get it to work (custom personality)?
Is it worth the trouble?
Any other expiriences?
I plan to work in 3d rendering (OPEN CL), C4D, etc.

Thanks!

I dual boot windows for cad work so card is more for that , in my case.
It's pretty straight forward to get the card up and running.
depending on if your card is oem ( DELL / HP ETC) or retail
the device id may differ - my retail card booted ok with ati graphics injected or not thru clover
if using clover it will probably pick its own framebuffer
you wont have all 4 dp ports working but just try each one - ports 3-4 gave me a signal
once you have the card working you just need to edit the personality
