Dell Studio XPS Desktop compatibility

Hey all I want to build a Hackintosh but I already have a Dell Studio XPS Desktop I bought a few years ago. It's a pretty decent desktop and honestly would love to make it into a Hackintosh if it's possible. It's running Ubuntu right now but I hate using Linux but not sure if it can run Apple software. It has an AMD Phenom II CPU and I'm not entirely sure if all Hackintosh builds use an Intel CPU or if it's possible somehow to run it with an AMD CPU. Any thoughts? If it can't be done then I'll just get Win 7 and call it a day. thanks

Only Intel CPU's are supported on this forum.
