While I wait to purchase the parts for my desktop Hackintosh I got to thinking about trying to load Mountain Lion on my (wife's) Dell Studio 1537.

Specs are
- ATI Radeon Mobility HD3450
- Intel Core 2 Duo T5800
- 4GB RAM
- 250GB HD
- Broadcom Gigabit NIC
- Dell 1510 Wireless N Card (re-badged Broadcom card)

Is it even worth trying or should I just wait for my custom built Hackintosh?

Hello,

Actually i do have a Dell Studio 1537 at home but never bothered to hackintosh it. The big difficulty is the ATI HD3450 series graphics card. I have never heard of a proper Mac OS X driver for it. No driver means no graphics acceleration. Worthless !
