Hmm, indeed, not helpful unless one is a kernel expert. Just wondering if whatever was "at the top" or "bottom" - unless this shows the end point (since this looks like scrolled output) gave any insight, other than these lists of hex values? Like something giving progress, or indication of what file/line was where panic is called - since then it might be possible to gain an insight at what point is failing. Or perhaps this is so early on in the loading of kernel that it's not even got that far...

Perhaps try cpus=1 kernel flag? See if that limits the panic (report).
Disconnect as many peripherals / internal cards as possible.
Other than that, am out of ideas...sorry.

that is the endpoint. i agree it looks scrolled, but unfortunately the top never appeared onscreen. cpus=1 didn't have an effect on this.

the good news, though, is that by experimenting with different content in my /extra directory and different kernels, i've gotten a bit father. i was getting an ACPI kernel panic that said it couldn't load the AppleACPIPlatform.kext, so I replaced that kext with another one from here. now the kext seems to be loading, but i'm getting a different ACPI KP -- here's a screenshot using the patched kernel that i mentioned before.

"Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\n"@/SourceCache
xnu/xnu-1228/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1378

i'm still experimenting with different options.

I know this is extremely old and I hate to necro post,
But i thought i'd shar a little info that may help out with this.

Almost every intel chipset that gives the CPU1 error
or ACPI, pretty much just needs you to add a NullPowerManagement kext.
This keeps the apple power management from taking over.

Hopefully this has already been discovered by the OP and i'm just leaving this
for anyone else that may be searching for this answer.
