Dell Latitude E5470

Interesting, This is what I found on the E5470. https://github.com/NOTNlCE/Latitude-E5470-OpenCore
it is possible that a SSDT and config.plist Find and Replace could sort that issue out for the brightness keys

scroll down to brightness keys section:

Ok cool will try that, you recommend using MacBookPro14,1 for the HD620 to work, will this SMBIOS will Powermanagement and iGPU Powermanagement work okay as this hardware is Skylake.

yes, should be fine, haven't noticed any issues on my laptop

your i5-6200U (skylake) will have HD520 (not HD620 that is in your profile)

Will change that now. I will give it ago and see what happens.

you will have to spoof your skylake to a kabylake for Ventura, then it will work

example for my HD530:

Code:
<key>PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)</key>
            <dict>
                <key>AAPL,ig-platform-id</key>
                <data>
                AAAWWQ==
                </data>
                <key>device-id</key>
                <data>
                FlkAAA==
                </data>
                <key>device_type</key>
                <string>VGA compatible controller</string>
                <key>force-online</key>
                <integer>1</integer>
                <key>hda-gfx</key>
                <string>onboard-1</string>
                <key>model</key>
                <string>Intel HD Graphics 530</string>
            </dict>
not sure if I really need to keep Intel HD Graphics 530 model there but it appears to work with no issues

also use MacBookPro14,1 smbios

Got into the installer, but got no trackpad.

if you have a standard PS2 trackpad, then kext order is important in your config.plist:

Code:
<dict>
                <key>Arch</key>

Thanks for that input, however my trackpad is a ALPHs, I installed the latest kext VoodooPS2 however it works but they're a problem, the trackpad acts crazy and randomly scrolls, Would you have any ideas? If I attach my EFI could you take a look at it for me?

Regards
