Is there anything I can do troubleshoot this further? I'd really like to get this SMBIOS working as it's the only one that matches my CPU model.

It is probably an issue with the freq. vectors (or other data) in the plist associated with that board-id in X86PlatformPlugin. You can read about it on Pike's blog.
