I have a Dell Latitude 3490 with the specs but having trouble getting audio to work.

I have managed to update it to Ventura and audio was working with Big Sur but not now.

Opencore has been updated to 0.9.0. It was 0.8.5 but audio did not work on there either.

ALC256
8gb DDR4 2400mhz
Intel 620 iGPU

Thanks

What ALC ID are you using? 13 works for my Vostro 3480...

Check the following link and try all the IDs listed for ALC256.

I found the issue. I was posting the ID in the wrong part of the config.plist. I forgot to put it in the NVRAM section. put it there as id 13 and internal speakers now working.

Thanks for the help.

Now just gotta see how to get the volume control to the toolbar up top.

This is what drives me crazy about Hackintoshes. Get one thing done and a thing that was working before isn't anymore. lol.

Now my Airdrop isn't working. Wifi and BT (headphones and file exchange work fine). Card is BCM94360NG.

MacOS is Ventura 13.2.1 which is the latest from the store.
Opencore is 0.9.0

All this mess was working with Opencore 0.8.5

Wifi is slow. Ethernet is slow. Neither one hits above 100mbps. Matter of fact wifi is only about 2mbps. Weird

I don't know what can cause that.

I got rid of this thing. It was given to me for free to fix, which I did, and my older brother needed a laptop so passed it on to him. Works great for what he needs. I am now just concentrating on issues with my MSI laptop. lol
