Made a little progress!

With ig-platform-id 0A 00 26 0A in DSDT I get a screen without artifacts! But still black screen problem!

Furthermore the 15" Display is recognized as a 13" Display. With latest Macbook Pro SMBios it is correctly detected.

I attach a darwindump if anyone has an idea ^^

Hey Rehabman!

Everytime I boot the system in starts up normal, then the screen goes black for a second afterwards the grey applescreen with mouse shows up for a second and then the screen is just black.

The only possibility to use the desktop is by hitting strg+alt+End and open/close the lid a few times till the desktop shows up.

CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Here are my IOReg-file and the cpu-z provided informations!

CPU is i7-4510U and Chipset is ID9C43 (see pictures).

MacBookAir6,2 would be better match.
And ig-platform-id = 0xa260006 might work better than 0xa26000a...

With ig-platform-id = 0xa260006 the graphics are crap, the menu is full of artifacts.
SMBios switch was just for cosmetic reasons (display 15") but regarding the black screen there was no difference.

Do you want me to switch back and create another ioreg?

You will need to experiment... But from what I remember, 0xa26000a is used by a retinal MacBookPro11,2. And you probably do not have a retina display...

Hmm.. I will try to inject different ig-platform-ids with SSDT-1.aml and inject EDID. Maybe there is a problem with screen detection?

The possibility is that backlight is turned off and the haswell backlightfix doesn´t work for this modell?

Is it a backlight problem? What happens if you adjust the backlight after wake?
