Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

As my main machine is my desktop and I have that already in my profile I'll post my laptop here and update my signature.

Machine: DELL inspiron 7537 Clover
CPU: i7 4500U HM77 chipset
Graphics: Intel 4400 with Nvidia 750m 1920x1080

Reply when you've fixed the things I mentioned earlier and when your signature is updated.

hi rehabman, can you please help me? when i close the lid the system does not goes to sleep. but Apple -> Sleep works perfectly. only after using Apple -> sleep to put the laptop to sleep and wake up, then lid close sleep works. but after a reboot, if i put the system to sleep when closing the lid without putting the system to sleep using apple -> sleep first then lid close does not put the system to sleep.

attached is my dsdt and ioreg. hope you can take a look for me. thanks

Looks fine. Keep in mind the ~20 second delay before sleep starts.

Also, sometimes you have to remove _PRW from the LID device (something about the GPE for it not working).
