Dell Inspiron 1545 crashes half way through install

Hi Tony, I have a dell inspiron 1545 with a core 2 duo with 4gb of ram and intel gma graphics. every time i try to install osx lion with my unibeast usb i get half way through the install and it just freezes. i really want to get this to work. im doing this for my little cousins birthday. we couldnt afford a real one so im gonna do this for her. I'm trying to install SL to do the x-move + Multibeast. Wish Me Luck

Update: 4:10 EST installing SL as I Type.

Update #2: 5:05 EST SL Successfully installed with working sound but no wifi

If you have any suggestions Please Help.

I have that same laptop! The only bad thing is if it has the intel 4500MHD like mine, It's not supported. All the drivers/Bootloader to get native 1366x769 resolution are on this site. Enjoy!

Hopefully this sites downloads are still up. This is for 10.6.8, so upgrade to that first.

succesfully installed osx 10.6.0 ... now for the update plus multibeast. and some new kexts.

i cant wait to see the look on my cousins face. xD

Hello,

i've installed SL 10.6.6 on my Dell Inspiron 1545 and there are two things not working. I can't get the AirPort working this means i've no wifi. My wifi card is the Dell Wireless 1397.

The second is that when i leave the Dell running and do nothing with it it will hang up and i can't reboot him. Also the f2 and f12 is not working. Could this be that the sleep kext is not working ?

If you have any suggestions Please Help.
