Dell Inspiron 13-7352
Intel Core i7-5500U Processor
8GB Single Channel DDR3L 1600MHz
Intel HD Graphics 5500
I had tried my hand at a hackintosh in this past on this machine and had previously had no luck, but I really wanted to give it a go again. I started by prepping a High Sierra bootable USB using the guide on tonymacx86 via UniBeast. Then, after playing around with the Intel injection and ig-platform-id, I was able to actually install the os, but ran into trouble again when I needed to reboot, but was able to finally get into the desktop environment. After installing a few kexts that I thought I needed in order to get some features back, I found myself having difficulty booting. I'm not sure if using Kext Utility was the way to go or using the S/L/E or L/E methods or putting it right into the EFI partition would have been better. Long story short, I want to attempt a reinstall, and I'm just hoping that someone who has similar experience with Dell Inspiron laptops can lend me some advice with getting this up and running. There is a guy who has several youtube videos that go over him installing High Sierra on this exact machine, but it seems to skip over a lot and the certain parts would come later.
I appreciate any and all help.
