Dell E6230 Touchpad Not Working & Audio

Hi i have
Dell Latitude E6230
OSX El Capitan 10.11.6
Intel Core i5 3320
Intel HD 4000
Ram 6GB

My problem is the touchpad doesn't work but keyboard is working fine, I'm using the latest VoodooPS2Controller.kext from rehab man. help with a solution please ?

Maybe your trackpad is not Synaptics.

Attach ioreg as ZIP: http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/58368-guide-how-make-copy-ioreg.html. Please, use the IORegistryExplorer v2.1 attached to the post! DO NOT reply with an ioreg from any other version of IORegistryExplorer.app.

Provide output (in Terminal):

kextstat|grep -y acpiplat
kextstat|grep -y appleintelcpu
kextstat|grep -y applelpc
kextstat|grep -y applehda

Attach EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (press F4 at main Clover screen before collecting). Please eliminate 'themes' directory. Provide only EFI/Clover, not the entire EFI folder.

Attach output of (in Terminal):

sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u /

Compress all files as ZIP. Do not use external links. Attach all files using site attachments only.

Your trackpad is not Synaptics. It is probably ALPS.

Okay, how do i make it work ? :( and for the Graphics card how do i find out if its full QE/CI. i can't open the DVD player. also on the boot logo the screen gables & i have enabled your patch from clover config for IHD 4000

Use google to find PS2 kexts for ALPS.
Your ioreg shows QE/CI working.

okey, once i found ALPS kext. do i have to remove VoodooPS2Controller.kext from S/L/E ?

Of course. Always a bad idea to have multiple kexts installed that match a single device (in this case i8042 PS2 controller).

Hi thanks rehab man, i have solved my touchpad problem. now my touchpad is working great. only the audio is not working :(
