Dell 34" Curved QHD Display (U3415W)

I need a new display and I liked the look of Dell UltraSharp displays the most. I was thinking of getting the 27" U2715H or U2717D, but I started to wonder if I could hook my laptop with a U3415W? I have couple of EliteBooks, some have Radeon, but I think I would hook it with a 8470p with a HD4000 (DP 1.1). I googled and got mixed results about it, some say they were able to hook their MacBook (HD4000) via DP and got full 3440 x 1440 at 60 Hz.

Anyone have any idea if this would work? There was also this thread below on Tonymac about this display but he/she wasn't using HD4000.

I bought Dell U3417W display and can confirm it works fine at full 3440x1440 @ 60Hz with Radeon HD7570M and also with HD4000. I wouldn't have thought I would be able to get over 50Hz with HD4000
