Default Partition won't boot by default...

I just rebuilt my machine and did everything as I have several times now but for some weird reason my default partition won't boot after the timeout expires.

I get the Chimera Menu showing all my boot partitions (as if I had hit the space bar) and the default partition is highlighted, so once I hit enter all is fine but it won't boot anymore by itself

I added Default Partition to the boot file, changed the time out... no luck.

Any idea what happened here or more importantly how I can get the default partition to automatically boot again?
