got my x58 build to install 10.9 (finally)

but everything is working now.

u used : -x PcirootUID=0 GraphicsEnabler=Yes

X58 sabertooth is a really tough board for hack...
I still haven't got my network and graphic card working perfectly

i used the realtekrtl81xx ethernet driver
your choice of graphics card could be a problem, most people use nvidia..
but the ati cards are known to work with some workarounds.....i would do a search
I'm sure somebody has used that card graphicsenabler=yes is probably a good start?

i realize this has nothing to do with osx but
i have been building a man cave jukebox/media device...
I'm using some repurposed parts of a real jukebox core assembly...(ecast)
works pretty good...
via c7 cpu @ 2.0ghz
via cn700 chipset(onboard vga/lan/ac97 codec)
1 gb ddr2 ram

windows xp(yuc)
microtouch lcd w/ touchscreen
jukebox arcade v1.3.7 <jukebox server app

i built this so the wife doesn't need to fiddle with my crazy stereo setup or my mac build...
she is not much of a pc type....;)
ill mount it on a swing arm behind the couch for quick acsess

it basically works like iTunes but with a touch gui

wus getting frisky and did the osx 10.9.2 update..
then since i have a decent cooler on the processor.id do a over clock to 3.8
with the right settings works quite well
heaven bench gave me an avg of 40 fps
valley gives me 30 fps.
settings i used(and this is a asus x58)
in ai tweeker:
ai overclock to manual
cpu ratio to 20.0
blk frequency to 190
dram frequency to 1523
cpu voltage to 1.2750
cpu pll voltage to 1.9
dram bus voltage to 1.64
cpu spread spectrum to disabled
pcie spread spectrum to disabled
f10 exit to reboot
1 ghz boost and 15 to 20% speed boost on apps
to me though it seems closer to 10 to 15% in osx at least
