DaVinci Resolve Software Installation Issue (blackmagic)

Software:
DaVinci Resolve 9.1.1

Error:
Mac OS X 10.6 or Later Required
This installer requires Mac OS X 10.6 or later to run.

System:
OS X Yosemite
Version 10.10.2
Processor: 3.99 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 32gb

Simple version: I run the install for DaVinci and it goes for about 15-20 seconds and then it gives me the version error. I am not sure how to fix it. I have tried installing off of disc and off of digital download. I have tried installing Da Vinci Resolve 9 and 10 and got the same error message.

hmmm should work. from here i cant tell you why does not work. i would suggest you to write to blackmagic support if they know issues with this card. so software does not start at all? you cant see the welcome screen for log in?i just can tell you i had similar issue with speedgrade. and the problem was an unkonwn problem with mobo. after i changed the mobo software runs.

Thanks, I just went and installed DaVinci 12 Lite and installed fine.

I am guessing 9/10 aren't supported? Anyways, thanks for your help?
