I finally made my wi-fi card works under SL 10.6.7. System is also 64bit and has got kernel 10.7.3.
1. I search for file IO80211Family.kext located in S/L/E.
2. Then locate info.plist inside atheros package:
IO80211Family.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AirPortAtheros21.kext/Info.plist
Note: for edit I used plist editor
3. Search for line with hardware ID's already inserted
4. add one more it would be ID of your hardware. If you don't know what is ID then you can find out with DPCI Manager http://www.kexts.com/view/370-dpcimanager.html
After that run Kext utility to repair permisions, restart and that should be it.
Works on Lion too!
Cheers
