I have a basic Customac Mini from 2012, with the GA-B75, i3-3225 using HD4000, 1 SSD and 2 HDD.

I looked at my real consumption yesterday, with a watt meter on the plug.
Idle: 44W
with near 100% load on CPU for few minutes: 64W (doing a video in iMovie + load with terminal command + geekbench)
peaks at boot (or sometimes): 85W (I can see the max during the period of measurement)

That's the reading from the plug, so with a 80% efficiency, this would mean my rig just use 51W at full load?
It's a bit surprising for me, but that's what I measured.

I have a be quiet! BQT E9 Straight Power 400W for the silence and quality.
It's completely overkill!
Even assuming I am running 85W all time, that's 20% load....

Is this correct, or I am missing something?

Looking at my figures, does it mean that the Customac Mini is consuming less than 100W?

(which means, fit easily in the 150W from Antec ISK 300, or the other small boxed with 120-200W included PSU)

Hi,

Anybody could confirm what I was measuring, please?

Your Customac Mini is so low in consumption?

Thanks
