CustoMac Mini 2011 with i5?

Hey all,
i wanna start to build a custom mac mini. i decided to took the mobo from tonymacs customac buyers guide. but i just want to change the cpu to an i5. here is my build

Gigabyte GA-H67N-USB3-B3, H67 (Sockel-1155, dual PC3-10667U DDR3)
Intel Core i5-2500K, 4x 3.30GHz, boxed (BX80623I52500K)
Corsair XMS3 DIMM Kit 8GB PC3-10667U CL9-9-9-24 (DDR3-1333) (CMX8GX3M2A1333C9)
Fractal Design Array R2, Mini-DTX/Mini-ITX (FD-CA-ARRAYR2-BL-NOPSU)

Can someone confirm my mac build? And ist the soundcard fully implemented (7.1)? actually i have an alc888 chip and i only have 3.1 surround :( .

Yes it will work, but I'm not certain about the 7.1, neither the 5.1.

aye, sure. but this one is a itx case and i can only put in a single slot pcie video card. best choice for me is the 6850. but i think im fine with the onboard graka. :headbang:
