Hi, I have build a CustoMac mATX with the specs (16GB RAM) i have found on the October Buyer's Guide. I'm trying to install Yosemite following the settings of the BIOS on the installation guide for my MB:

2. Set to Optimized Defaults.
3. (Optional) Set X.M.P. Memory Profile to Profile1
4. If your CPU supports VT-d, disable it

But on the first boot (with -x -v parameters, without any, with -v -x PCIRootUID=1 IGPEnabler=Yes GraphicsEnabler=No) i always got and error that appears for a second and the PC turns off.

I have time to see that DMOS has arrived and a screens that says: "The OS X installation couldn't be completed blah blah.."

Questions:
¿Should i use the DVI connector to install o can i use the VGA one?
¿Do i need any specific boot parameters for Chameleon for this specs? I have tried PCIUIRoot=1 maxmen=4096
I have tried with only one RAM module and with both of them
¿Should i create unibeast usb with usb legacy support for this motherboard?

Thanks in advance

Hi anibol,

use the DVI Connector, VGA is not supported.

Update your hardware list.

I also have the z97m-d3h motherboard w/ i5-4690K haswell cpu and native graphics. I can get it to work, albeit laggy with glickers and without audio.:banghead:

THe boot flags I used for installation were:

-v -x IGPEnabler=No GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1

Give it a shot and see. I'm thinking I'll have to edit the dsdt to get rid of the lag....

Cheers,

My Hardware:
GA-Z97M-D3H BIOS F2
INTEL I5 4460
VIDEO CARD INTEGRATED
16GB RAM BALLISTIX
SSD 128GB SAMSUNG
HD 1TB SEAGATE
TP-Link PCI Express Wifi Adapter

I started with:
2. Set to Optimized Defaults.
3. Set X.M.P. Memory Profile to Profile1
4. If your CPU supports VT-d, disable it

I'm using DVI-D connector

Boot with -v -x -> no success
Boot with -v -x IGPEnabler=Yes -> no success
Boot with -v -x IGPEnabler=No GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1 -> no success

I have tried all this boots with one ram module and only with the SSD connected.

Snip3: Which BIOS version do you have? What settings have you changed on the BIOS settings?

Any help? Thanks
