Afternoon!

I'm currently making my first PC build and decided to make it a hackintosh. I've been following the buyer's guide almost directly but i'm running into some trouble with the PSU as the:

Corsair CX-M 550 Watt

PSU is sold out/back ordered at most places. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a replacement 550W mATX PSU?

For reference, I'll be using a Corsair 280x Case for my build.

Don't use any PSU, because then it could catch fire (seriously). Linus Tech Tips keeps a fire extinguisher near by when they use a cheap one.

Recommendations are (in order):

Seasonic FOCUS GX-550
Corsair RM550x
EVGA SuperNOVA G5 550

These PSUs are fully modular, which is even better (you only plug in the cables you need).

If you want a cheaper PSU, brands I would trust would be (in order):

Seasonic
XFX (they rebrand Seasonic PSUs)
Corsair
EVGA
