Cursor Stuck Top Left (Apple Menu)

Very weird issue, I noticed that after updating Clover to the latest version, the mouse is stuck in the upper left... It's not a hardware issue, as I have Splashtop remote desktop installed and the same thing happens when I remote into the machine (the cursor just doesn't budge and clicks result in the Apple menu being clicked). This point is furthered by the fact that when I downgrade to 10.11.3 with an older version of Clover it works just fine. Anyone know what this could be about? Thank you.

I tried updating clover to yesterday's new version and still get the same strange issue where I cannot move the cursor (again this is still present when I remote into the machine). Downgrading back to the older version allows me to use the machine properly, however I'm still stuck on 10.11.3 that way since I need a newer version of clover to use the latest MacOS update... Any feedback?
