Looks like the NVIDIA driver for 10.12.6 is out and works, no problem (GTX 960 here). Cuda is actually saying "Update Required" version 8.0.83. Can't seem to find a "Cuda" update though. Any ideas where that might be?
Current GPU driver version is 10.18.5 (378.05.05.25f01)

Download and install it from here and that will go away. Worked for me.

I also facing the problem with cuda which can't be found in After Effects. I've updated NVidia Cuda driver to the latest. CUDA-Z reports no problem but none of applications which can work with CUDA doesn't work with it.

I've got the same issue here, I downloaded the latest driver form the mentioned link but the "update required message" won't go away.
