What csr flag are people running for day to day usage?

Once everything is updated what are people changing the flag to?

After booting with 0x67, I could copy and place third-party kexts into /S/L/E

Not necessarily. Basically it just disables kext signature enforcement and a few other security measures. It's really not a bad idea to just leave it at 0x67 to avoid issues in day to day usage.

0x03 is definitely not the same as 0x67.

0x67 in binary: 01100111
0x03 in binary: 00000011

When you disable SIP on a real Mac, it is set to 0x67.
