Any tips on configuring audio to get this card working optimally?
Should I just use the VoodooHDA?

I did a bit of searching- found these 2 threads- I think you're best using VoodooHDA:

Got it working. Turned out I needed both LegacyHDA and VoodooHDA? I tried them all independently and it did not work, but with both it does. When I install only VoodooHDA, I see SPDIF as the only sound option in both Sound Effects and Output (no Line out)

Update: Not sure when this changed (10.6.3? BIOS F9?), but now it works with just VoodooHDA (and the 10.6.2 AppleHDA) Before I needed both VoodooHDA and the 889 LegacyHDA. Strange.
