I bought a pair of Pebbles from Micro Center last year, I really enjoy the rich and deep sounds you get from them. They also remind me of the the original Mac Pro speakers, fortunately they’re considerably cheaper!.
Honestly I am surprised that clear plastic is not yellowed. My wife has two home pod minis, I really prefer headphones myself vs. speakers but my Studio display has reasonable sound.
Each speaker looks to be the size of the Amazon Echo Dot device, approx 123mm/4.7 inch diameter. So not small but not so large as to dominate the desktop. There are three methods for connecting the v3 speakers, USB Type-C or Type-A with an adapter, Bluetooth 5.0 and audio cable.
For those not interested in paying £30 for a pair of speakers the older versions are still available, at a lesser price. The Pebble v2 are £22.99 and the Pebble v1 speakers are £19.99. Both older version are offered with a 10% discount on those base prices, again on Amazon UK.
The difference between the v2 & v3 is the v2 speakers lack Bluetooth. Everything else looks the same.
