I have an old PowerMac G5 running 10.5.8, so the unibeast install wont work.

Is it possible to install from an iPad? Has anyone tried this?
If you get that to work I think it will be more impressive than a hackintosh.

If Unibeast were ported to iOS and could be installed as an app...
And if you could use xmove to transfer the Lion install from usb onto ipad disk mode...
And you could mount a usb stick to the iPad...

Maybe ill just ask a friend if i can use their mac.

You must first install Snow Leopard on your computer (your PC build, not your Mac) using the Snow Leopard retail DVD. Then update to at least 10.6.6 (latest is 10.6.8) and then purchase Lion from the Mac App Store. Only then will you be able to run UniBeast to create the UniBeast Lion USB stick.

Right. Thats whats driving this build. even though the ppc still works, i cant update much, if any software anymore.

Plus, i should see a really nice speed improvement ;)
May be I have not said it clearly. When I said you should install Snow Leopard first, I mean to install it on your PC, not on your Mac. If the hardware components are as you listed then you should be able to install Snow Leopard on it.

I didn't know Apple reintroduced PowerPC support in 10.6.6.
I know Snow Leopard does not support PowerPC. Perhaps I did not say it clearly and there is an misunderstanding. What I mean is that the OP should first install Snow Leopard on his/her PC build, not his/her Mac.
