Hello,

With the help of a friend, I have set up a machine that on the surface seems to be working fine but I have been getting repeated crashes while using iTunes and/or Lightroom. I am not sure but have a sneaking suspicion this is somehow related to the graphics card.. pretty wild guess though.

the motherboard and graphics card are:

motherboard: gigabyte P55A-UD3 ATX LGA1156 P55 DDR3 2PCI-E 2PCI RAID GBLAN CROSSFIREX USB3 SATA3

VIDEO CARD: MSI GEFORCE GTX 460 FERMI HAWK OC 780MHZ 1GB GDDR5 DUAL DVI MINI-HDMI DX11 PCI-E

does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do/change?

Thank you so much in advance, all help is appreciated

I've encountered the same problem as you, crashing while running itunes. I solved those problems by playing a videoloop in the background using vlc media player. It's kinda like dreamscene from windows on mac os x, I kinda like it too.

Now, no more crashes or freezes.
