Hi,

After reaching the Apple welcome installation screen and choosing the English language, it crashes with:
"Waiting for remote debugger connection.
kdp_poll: no debugger device"

The full verbose video is attached below in 2 parts, before & after the Apple logo screen:
https://we.tl/t-E9gtWJ4ZGo
The Clover folder is also attached (and updated)

Laptop Model: Lenovo ideapad Z510
Mobo: Lenovo (VIUU4) | Intel Haswell Rev.06 | Intel HM86 Rev.C2 (Clover_v2.4k_r4701)
CPU: Intel Core i7-4702MQ @2.20GHz (Haswell)
Graphics: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600, 1366x768
WiFi: Intel(R) Wireless-N 7260
Ethernet: Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller
Sound: Realtek High Definition Audio
USB2.0 / USB3.0
System already has a running Windows 10 operating system (UEFI)...

BIOS Choices:

SATA Controller Mode: AHCI
Graphic Device: UMA Only
Intel Virtual Tech: Disabled
BIOS Back Flash: Disabled
Secure Boot: Disabled
Boot Mode: Legacy Support
Boot Priority: UEFI First
OS Optimized Defaults: Other OS

This forum is a great idea, and the amount of support is huge. Really great work !
Thank you!

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.

The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

Sorry, it was a connection issue due to the large upload link (attachment)... :(
I read the steps you mentioned in your reply and updated the main post accordingly.

Thanks !

Your Clover is not the version recommended in the guide.
GenericUSBXHCI has no application to your hardware.
SATA-RAID-unsupported.kext is deprecated, replaced by SATA-unsupported.kext.
As per guide, CSM/legacy boot should be enabled.

Your Clover is not the version recommended in the guide ---> Updated to latest version (r4701.RM-4963.ca6cca7c)
GenericUSBXHCI has no application to your hardware ---> Removed
SATA-RAID-unsupported.kext is deprecated, replaced by SATA-unsupported.kext ---> Done
As per guide, CSM/legacy boot should be enabled ---> Done

Current Status:
Out of 15 trials, the installation reached the "a minute remaining" progress message 3 times, but got stuck at this message endlessly (left it more that 5-6 hours over night).
So I had eventually to Cancel or restart, but then the following trial, it began the installation from the scratch (9 minutes remaining, 7 minutes remaining,etc...) although I did not re-format the partition.

For the remaining trials (around 12 out of 15), it didn't reach the Apple installation screen and but instead it crashed with the "Waiting for remote debugger connection. kdp_poll: no debugger device" message.
The new CLOVER "dump" is attached below.

Thank You !

Hi RehabMan,

Thanks for your guidance...
I check the laptop RAM configuration (attached to this message) and after reading the Clover documentation that I found in:
https://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration/SMBIOS#smbios_memory
I update the config.plist/SMBIOS/Memory according to the current RAM configuration (attached to the message as well).
Unfortunately, the preboot.log did not change, displaying the same content/message, and the installation gets stuck at the same point/message.

What did I miss ? Are there any further steps/procedures that I should do ?

Please help !

SlotCount=4? Really?

SlotCount=4? Really?

This means I got the wrong answer.
I am just a newbie, so I don't know the right answer... Is it 2 slots (as only 2 are used) ?

I got it from CPU-Z
LEN_05_SPD.png

and Windows10/Task Manager/Performance Tab/Memory
RAM_Config.jpg

Do I have anything else in my memory configuration that is wrong ?!
Thanks for your Help :)

You should try 2.
Perhaps some laptops have 4 slots, but I've never seen one.
Possibility to know for sure is only via physical inspection.

If you're guessing at things, you should be prepared to make multiple guesses.
