I have a problem that's driving me nuts. The system is stable with everything working until I put the CPU under heavy load such as handbrake, then it crashes every time after about a minute. It's not heat or OC related.
OS 10.10
GA-Z97m-d2 i7-4790k
Bios is set to optimized defaults, then vtd and turbo boost off. No OC or anything fishy.
HW monitor shows 4.2 Ghz and cpu temps in the low 60s using a noctua cooler.
I've tried a fresh install with various multibeast options: Drop SSDT, generate cpu states (or not), null cpu power management but no matter what it crashes. I even changed out the CPU thinking it was the problem.
Any help appreciated.
