Hi gang, I have a system with the following specs:
Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD4-B3
Intel Core i7-2600
16gb PC1333 DDR3
EVGA GeForce GTX 460 SE (Fermi) 1GB
I am experiencing a crash problem, I have to hold down the power button to restart the computer. I followed the iBoot+Multibeast install instructions to the letter for 10.6.8, including the Sandy Bridge instruction update with UpdateHelper. I used the DSDT for my board/BIOS version from this site. I have the USB3 and secondary SATA/eSATA controllers disabled, not using them at the moment anyway. I installed the official nVidia drivers.
Where can I look to figure out what is causing the issue? I'd like to get this install running smooth before tackling 10.7 Lion.
Thanks for all the pointers!
