CPU heatsink temperature always zero degrees Celsius in HWMonitor

For some reason my CPU heatsink temperature is always zero degrees Celsius (or 32 Fahrenheit) in HWMonitor. I highly doubt the heatsink is that cold. Does anyone have an idea what might be wrong?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Set your HWMonitor app to check for updates, maybe it'll get fixed in a newer release. Latest version is 6.9.1315

Interestingly, after several updates to HWMonitor, now the CPU heatsink works, but the ambient temperature is always 0. Go figure.
