Hey guys,

I practically have everything working perfectly. Except that I ran geekbench and got rediculous results (around 6000) so I started checking everything and noticed that my CPU fan is not working!

I gor iStats and it shows that I'm between 80 and 90 degrees aLL the time!

Any ideas of how to fix this?

Thanks!

System:
Processor Intel Core i7-2600K$
Motherboard Gigabyte - Z68XP-UD3 (Rev 1.3)

Yep, it' connected ok. I'm wondering if I messed up the thermal compound and should do it again..... Because indeed this sounds like hardware ....

are you sure it's not working? did you open up your case while the machine is on to see if it's spinning or not? maybe some wire or cable is blocking it if so. there should be other fan connectors on your motherboard that you could connect to, if it still won't spin then it's likely your fan motor is broken.

Thanks for the suggestion guys. There was something wrong with my stock because I changed it and installed my Noctua and it works great!
Now my computer is running always under 40° and scoring over 14K in Geekbench!

Cheers!
