couple questions before i update...

im running 10.8.3 and would like to update to 10.8.5 so i can run logic x. but i have a few questions before i update.

my system
- ga-z68x
- i7 2600k
- gtx 670

1. do i just download the combo update from apple and it will update me from 10.8.3 to 10.8.5?
2. do i have to download the new multibeast and run it after i install the combo update?
3. do i basically reselect all of my multibeast settings as my initial install?
4. do i still avoid the fakesmc plugins or can i install those now?
5. what about audio and usb drivers should all that work okay>

Any help for a not so hackintosh savvy one like myself? I'm trying to use logic x for my side work but need to update. I'd like to do it tonight if possible but I can't find a guide on how to do so and more specifically with my motherboard.
