Removed disk1 ( the HDD) and that didn’t solve it .Remove second disk while performing the update.

I did restart the update process every time , but with no luck .No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.
Note: After a failed update, you must restart the update process over from the beginning.

This installer I am not using , it’s for backup purposes, I’m trying to update the os from the AppStore combo update , do you think removing the installer volume would solve the problem ?As per guide, the installer goes on a USB partition.
