Installing Snow Leopard on Sandybridge system. Is this the right sequence? Missing anything?

1. use iBoot Legacy and install 10.6.3 (system auto-reboots like it or not)
2. Boot up again using iBoot Legacy disk, but select new Mac HD 10.6.3 install.
3. Run multibeast, update helper.
4. Reboot
5. Run 10.6.8 update combo package
6. reboot

The question is : does this sequence works on your hack ?

to be honest, I have tried so many variables, I lost track.

Update is: Yes, this works, but step #4 has to be a reboot via iBoot CD, rather than HDD.
(at least on my system)
