Hi Everyone,

I have a working Hackintosh with a few minor issues.
I have a total of 4 x 3TB SATA drives connected via the SATA ports on the MB.
These HDDs hold data from my previous build.

Each time I try to copy or move data to anther internal or external drive, I receive the the following message:

"You may need to enter the name and password for an adminstrator on this computer to change the item named "xxxxxx"".
Anyone have a similar issue? Is there a way to resolve this? Its a permission issue but not sure how to go about this.

TIA.

Select the drive in the Finder and do a Get Info.
Click the orange lock at the bottom of the window and enter your password.
Add yourself to the list of users using the '+' button. Set your Privilege to Read & Write.
Then click the gear icon pull-down and choose Apple To Enclosing Items.... Are You Sure? Yes.
Wait for it to finish, then click the lock again.
That's it!

Thanks! Will try it out.
