Hello,
I created a fresh install of El Capitan (10.11) on a second disk. I do have two builds now. Yosemite and El Capitan. In Yosemite I have mail app configured and a lot of mailmessages.
Is there a way to copy the mail folder (Library/Mail) to the new installation? I tried it, but mail then moves the mail folder from a V2 folder to V3 and creates a new V2 folder. The Mail app is then empty and starts with the create account whizard. Is there a solution for this?
My total Mail folder is 11Gb.

'Google' tell's me that I have to copy Library/preferences/com.apple.mail.plist. But this file dows not exist.

Can someone please help me?

Why not try the migrate assistant in Utilities.
But make a copy first of your El capitan. You might mess up your build.

Because the migrate assistent doesn't give me the option to select only mail. All the files are on the same computer, and I don't want to copy everything.
Isn't there another way?
